With much uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the possibility of tackle football in 2020-21, the Winnipeg High School Football League (WHSFL) has announced the 2020 Super Combine, aimed to help grade 11 and 12 athletes in their pursuit of university/junior football.
"The ability for our athletes to showcase their talents after years of hard work is extremely important to all involved in the league," Commissioner Jeffrey Bannon said.
"We're adapting to the current situation we find ourselves in, and are looking forward to seeing all of our ballers represent in early December."
The event, occurring from Dec. 3-4 (10 am to 5 pm both days) at the Winnipeg Soccer Federation North Complex (770 Leila Avenue), will include individual drills (10 am-1 pm) and one-on-ones (2 pm-4:30 pm), both of which will be run by Sport Manitoba. All results will be sent out to collectively to the league's U SPORTS, CJFL and NCAA contacts.
